LemurLulu ("we", "us", "our") is a kids party venue in Washington State. Parties are held at our venue at 11909 124th Ave NE, Kirkland, WA 98034. This Privacy Notice explains what information we collect when you visit our website or book a party with us, how we use it, and the choices you have. Information we collect

What you send us through the booking form. Our website booking form is how enquiries reach us. It typically carries a parent's name, e-mail address, phone number, the date and time you would like, the number of guests, and anything you add in the message field.
Party details. Whatever you tell us so we can prepare the room — the birthday child's age, the theme you have in mind, food allergies, and any accessibility needs for your guests.
Notes from our conversations. If you call, text or e-mail us about a booking, we keep a short record so the whole team knows what was agreed.
Photos taken at the venue. Only with your permission — see "Photos at the venue" below.
Browser and device data. Like most websites, our servers log IP address, browser type, pages viewed and timestamps. We use this to keep the site secure and to see which pages are actually helpful.
Chat with our assistant. The chat window on this site is an AI assistant. What you type into it, along with the page you were on, is stored so we can follow up, and is sent to the AI provider that generates the reply (see "How we share information"). Please do not type anything into it you would not put in an e-mail; if you want to tell us something sensitive, call us instead.
Details you start typing into a form. If you begin filling in the booking form and leave without sending it, we may keep what you had already entered so we can follow up on an enquiry that was clearly meant for us. Tell us and we will delete it.
Cookies and similar technologies. See "Cookies and analytics" below.

We do not take card or bank details on this website. There is no online payment at present: we agree payment with you directly once your date is confirmed.

Why we use your information

To answer your enquiry and confirm your date and time.
To prepare the room, the decorations and any add-ons you asked for, and to reach you on the day if anything changes.
To send you booking updates and, if you have opted in, occasional news about the venue. You can unsubscribe at any time.
To keep the venue safe and to meet our obligations around health, safety and insurance.
To improve the website and the way we run parties.
To comply with legal obligations and to resolve disputes.

Legal basis

We process your information on one or more of these bases: your consent (for example, when you submit the booking form or agree to photos), our legitimate interest in running and improving the venue, and the performance of our agreement with you once a party is booked.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We share it only with the team members who need it to run your party, and with the service providers we rely on to operate:

Website hosting — the servers this site runs on.
E-mail delivery — the service that sends your booking confirmations and our replies.
Website analytics — aggregate reporting on which pages people find useful.
The AI assistant — messages you type into the chat window are sent to our AI provider to generate a reply. They process it on our behalf and under contract; they do not use it to train their models.
Accounting — for invoices and tax records.

Those providers are bound by confidentiality and use the data only on our behalf. We will also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is needed to protect people's safety and our legal rights.

Retention

We keep booking records for as long as we have an active relationship with you, and afterwards for the period needed for tax, accounting and dispute-resolution purposes (typically up to seven years). Mailing-list data is kept until you unsubscribe. Photos are kept only as long as the consent you gave allows.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and opt out of marketing e-mail at any time. You can also ask us in writing not to "sell" or "share" your data — we do not, but you are welcome to have that confirmed. Washington State residents have additional rights under the Washington My Health My Data Act and Washington's consumer data privacy framework. Cookies and analytics

We use a small set of cookies to keep the site working: your session, security tokens, and a record of how you first arrived so we know which of our efforts actually help. We also use website analytics to see which pages are useful.

We do not show a cookie consent banner. Washington State, where we operate, does not require opt-in consent for this kind of analytics, so analytics run for every visitor by default. If you would rather not be measured, every current browser can block cookies or send a Global Privacy Control signal, and both work on this site. Blocking them does not affect your ability to book a party.

Photos at the venue

We love sharing what happens here, but never without asking. We will ask the booking parent before taking any photo or video that we might use on our website or social media, and you can say no without it affecting your booking in any way. If a guest prefers not to appear, tell us on the day and we will keep them out of frame. You can ask us to remove a published image of your child at any time and we will take it down.

Health information and Washington State

To run a party safely we sometimes need information that Washington's My Health My Data Act treats as consumer health data — most often a food allergy, a dietary restriction, or an accessibility need for a guest.

We collect it only when you volunteer it, and only so we can plan the food, the room and the activities safely.
We use it for that party and nothing else. We never use it for marketing, and we never sell it. Selling consumer health data requires a separate signed authorisation, and we do not ask for one because we do not sell it.
Inside our team it reaches only the people running your party. Outside it, it reaches only the hosting and e-mail providers listed above, as part of the booking record.
We keep it with the booking record and delete it on request.
You can ask us to confirm what health data we hold, who we shared it with, and to delete it. Write to us and we will answer within the time the law allows. If we ever refuse, we will tell you why and how to appeal.

Children's privacy

Our website and booking process are meant for parents and guardians. We follow the federal Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA): we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13, this site is not directed at children, and an adult completes every booking.

We do hold some information about a child — a first name, an age, a food allergy — but it always comes from the adult who books, never from the child themselves, and we use it only to run that party. If you believe a child has given us information without your consent, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — TLS encryption in transit, encrypted backups and access limited to the people who need it — to protect what you share with us. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your information with care and will tell you about any incident affecting it as the law requires.

Changes to this notice

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. If a change is significant we will say so on the homepage or let you know by e-mail.
